Food on the slopes?
Last time I skied, I ended up skiing on an empty belly due to the torcher of buying lunch... What do you bring to keep you full.
Something light and portable (but filling)
I'm a vegitarian
I almost always keep a quart-sized ziploc bag full of trail mix in my pack if I am skiing at a big resort and will be away from the base lodge...otherwise I just keep it in my ski bag and go in to grab a snack when I get the munchies. I make it with a mix of cashews, brazil nuts, walnuts, dried cranberries, white raisins, shelled sunflower and pumpkin seeds. It's yummy and filling.
Most Clif and Luna bars are vegan. A Clif bar fits very well in the pocket of a Ski Jacket. One might not get you through the day if you burn a lot of calories so take a few. Buy them at a supermarket. I pay $1 a bar. If I buy one at the ski resort it's almost $2.50.
Some ski areas still allow guests to bring coolers into the lodge. If the one you visit allows this the you can bring in just about anything you want. Call the resort you plan to visit and ask them what their policy is on coolers.
